Firsts

Hey. Um. Welcome to my Blog.

This is my first post - one of many 'firsts' I plan to share with you on this blog. I am at the phase of my life where I am beginning a series of changes, all of which contribute to my evolution into an adult. Adult - what does that even mean? Well, to me it has always meant someone who buys their own socks, cooks actual meals and knows how taxes work. Doesn't exactly sound appealing but at least they can drink, right?

Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked. The first of these changes for me is going to university. Textbooks, lectures, parties, all nighters, new people, new opportunities, new obstacles. All in a daunting seventeen days. (Did I mention I hate change?). But change, as they say, is inevitable, so I may as well dive head-first into the great pit of the unknown.

Well, that's all I've got for now. Thanks for joining me as I stumble through this set of hurdles that is my transition into adulthood. This is only the beginning.
